Worship at St Augustine’s

Worship is at the heart of life at St Augustine’s.

We gather to pray, hear Scripture, share Holy Communion, and grow together in faith through the Anglican tradition of worship.

Whether you have attended church for many years, are visiting for the first time, or are returning after time away, you are warmly welcome.

Visiting for the First Time?

You do not need to know what to do or say to join us.

Our services follow a printed order of service, and the congregation will guide you along naturally. Simply come as you are and participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable.

After the service, visitors are welcome to stay for conversation and refreshments.

Optional short quote section:

“Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
— Matthew 11:28

Music & Liturgy

Worship at St Augustine’s draws on the richness of Anglican liturgy, Scripture, prayer, and music.

Our main Sunday service includes:

Holy Communion
Hymns and sung worship
Bible readings and preaching
Prayer for the Church and community

Music is supported by our choir and historic pipe organ.

Children & Families

Children and families are always welcome at St Augustine’s.

We encourage children to be part of church life and worship. Children’s activities and family services are held throughout the year, particularly during Easter and Christmas seasons.
